Article About Eeedora

By pat | February 29, 2008

If you haven’t heard of EeeDora yet, It’s a version of Fedora modified specifically for the Eee PC- created and maintained by Martin Andrews. Red Hat Magazine has a short article about it with a great overview of the distribution.

Eeedora is a great solution especially if you’re used to working with Red Hat, Cent OS, or Fedora instead of using Debian based distributions like Ubuntu. It uses the XFCE window manager for optimal screen use as well, and comes with a solid amount of software.

I’ve been using it the past several days and it’s quite nice! Give it a shot and see if you like it. The article linked to above has the full details on installing it.
